Carved Wooden Spoon Set

The set includes a classic spoon, a flat-edged spatula for scraping fond, a corner spoon that reaches into the edges of a saucepan, and a slotted spoon for lifting vegetables from their liquid. Each piece is carved from cherry, a hardwood that is smooth, dense, and will not scratch enamel or nonstick surfaces.

Wood stays cool in a hot pot and does not transfer metallic flavors to acidic sauces. Wash by hand, dry promptly, and avoid leaving the spoons in water. If the grain feels fuzzy, sand lightly with fine sandpaper and rub in some mineral oil. They darken beautifully as they age.
