Manual Burr Coffee Grinder

Blade grinders chop coffee into dust and boulders at the same time; burrs crush beans to a uniform size so every particle extracts evenly. This grinder uses 38 mm stainless conical burrs, stabilized by a dual bearing that keeps them aligned. A numbered click dial lets you return to your favorite setting instead of guessing.

It takes about 45 seconds to grind 20 grams for a pour-over and a little longer for espresso. The aluminum body is small enough to pack for a trip. Brush out old grounds every week, and do not wash the burrs with water. Run a spoonful of dry rice through occasionally to clear oils.
