Retro Two-Slice Toaster

Slots are one and a half inches wide, which fits hand-cut bread, thick bagels, and waffles without anything catching. The dial runs through seven browning levels, and dedicated buttons handle bagels by toasting only the cut side, reheating without extra browning, and defrosting frozen slices before toasting them.

A lever lifts short pieces high enough to grab without fingers near the elements. The stainless steel body has a softly curved, vintage-style shape that looks right on a counter. Unplug it and let it cool before emptying the crumb tray regularly, since built-up crumbs can smoke. Wipe the outside with a slightly damp cloth.
