Live-Edge Olivewood Serving Board

Olive trees grow slowly, and their dense, oily wood shows it in swirling grain that makes every board a little different. Ours are cut from pruned branches and retired orchard trees, then left with the natural outer edge intact. A drilled hole at one end lets you hang it on a hook between gatherings.

Use it as a serving board for cured meats, cheese, fruit, and crusty bread, with light slicing now and then. Olivewood resists odors well but still needs gentle treatment: hand wash, dry immediately, and rub in a little mineral oil when it starts to look dull. Size and shape vary by piece.
