Hand-Thrown Stoneware Mug

Every mug is thrown on a potter's wheel, trimmed by hand, and fired to high temperature, so the stoneware is dense and holds heat well. Throwing lines are left visible on the outside, and the rim is rounded smooth for comfortable sipping. The handle leaves room for three fingers with a thumb rest on top.

The mug holds 14 ounces with room to spare for milk. Because it is handmade, size and glaze vary a little from piece to piece. It is dishwasher safe and microwave safe. To remove coffee or tea stains inside, scrub with a paste of baking soda and a little water.
